For flags I print all my own flags on paper and then glue on to pins rather than the Adler flag poles - this is partly because pins are stiffer but also because I like to use oversize flags to give a good effect. I get the picture files from this site and then insert them into Word to scale to the size I want:

Sorry, just asked question on main post - should have looked here. With the flags in pins - how are you then fixing - do they simply push into the figure or are you drilling through hands. Thanks
